The Purpose or purposes for which this corporation is formed is as follows: To develop the social, civic and general welfare of the neighborhood area encompassed by this Association; to collect and dispose dues assessed pursuant to the by-laws of this Association; to collect any funds given to or becoming due this Association; to protect, preserve, care for and improve the said neighborhood encompassed by this Association in any manner or by any means deemed advisable or made necessary; to acquire title to real estate by gift, purchase, or otherwise for the benefit of the members of this Association, and to mortgage, deal with or dispose of said real estate; and to do all other things necessary, incident to and allowed by law to the operation of an Association of this character.
